Talbott Legacy Centers (TLC) operates nonresidential, comprehensive opioid treatment programs (OTPs) specializing in the evidence-based treatment of opioid use disorder (OUD) - also known as prescription painkiller, fentanyl, and/or heroin addiction - using a combination of FDA-approved medications, medical services, and psychosocial services.
Medical Services
Regular access to a physician or nurse practitioner, & registered and/or licensed practical nurses is a foundation of the TLC approach to care. Each patient will have a full medical history & physical examination, including bloodwork and urinalysis, upon admission and at least annually thereafter in addition to ongoing medical visits and evaluations for stability and improved health throughout the course of treatment.
Psychosocial Services
Individual and group substance use counseling are provided as a critical component of lasting recovery from mental and substance use disorders. The amount and type of counseling depends on the individual's diagnosis(es), history, and needs that influence their individualized and unique plan of comprehensive care.
Medication Services
Individuals with opioid use disorder (OUD) may benefit from an FDA-approved medication for their substance use disorder as one part of their unique plan of comprehensive care. TLC is licensed to dispense all three (3) FDA-approved medications for OUD (methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone) onsite alongside a patient's comprehensive treatment services.
